As summer winds down, nothing changes at Beachclub. This hotel stays hot all year long. Pools are heated and they know how to make it work. So we love to gear up for an affordable beach getaway to Orlando, even in the winter months! We make it our home-base and prefer the two-bedroom, residence-style accommodations that sleep six comfortably.
This is one of the better resorts. You can rent bikes here. We love the 4-wheeler. Here is the resorts you can rent bikes at Disney. For bike rentals go to Old Key West, Boardwalk Inn, Port Orleans Riverside, Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness, Saratoga Springs, Coronado Springs, and Caribbean Beach Resort. Try the local bike shops too. Yes, it is fun to enjoy Bicycles at the Disney Orlando Resorts.
Before we hit the pool you can use the Ship Shape Health Club here at the hotel and it is open 24 hours a day. Get the workout or spa treatment and then go for the Splash. At least work out once at the Ship Shape Health Club.
This is one fancy place and it has just about everything you can imagine for entertainment. Kids get to watch Disney movies in the lobby while they're waiting. The pool area is spectacular and they serve food to you out there, including frozen cocktail drinks. The hotel offers a full menu poolside and can even get a big salad down by the pool. We also enjoyed Uno Pizzeria and Grill plus Maggiano's Italian Restaurant for dining.
You can walk to Hollywood Studios from the hotel. The best rides there include: Tower of Terror, Rock N Roller Coaster, Voyage of the little Mermaid, Star Tours, and Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. A great day out! Too cool is the ability to Walk to the great Theme Park Rides.
Definitely Orlando has it completely going on when it comes to hotels that are amazing. Beach Club is at the top of the list, no doubt about it. The Hard Rock Hotel Universal Studios is tremendous. But even a $50 room over there off International Drive is fine for a fun vacation, the Disney theme parks are just the best around.
