You will like the japan Orlando section a lot. Here is what to do and see: matsuriza band, Japanese storyteller, teppan edo restaurant, tokyo dining restaurant, yakitori house eatery, kaki gori food cart, Mitsukoshi Department Store, and the japanese treats shop. Food and stores that are so unique is a day trip treat.
This was a great day, and we are glad we picked Epcot as the Theme Park of choice for our Friday. Entertainment follows you around or maybe a better way to put it, as you move forward you will find all sorts of things going on that you didn't expect.
We did a lot of homework but it was all about the rides, and did not really pay much attention to the different attractions that are free and just part of the day, you don't need a ticket or fastpass. Over in Germany they have a pretty cool thing too, the Oktoberfest Musikanten Band. I would definitely do the Boat Voyage Through Mexico. Many of these events are something you really can't timeout because they are performed periodically and they don't advertise what the show times are going to be.
If there's something really special you are interested in you can ask one of the people in the showcase, for instance the Chinese high flying Acrobats, you don't want to miss that and if they have a good band playing you need to go over and check out the Musical Acts. Nice is the Asian Market at Ucf and Beall's Outlet for Shopping. The Walmart has lots of disney stuff on sale too. Another thing we learned, Oops, There is no biking or long boarding allowed around Lake Eola. Only walking is allowed.
