Mexico

Mexico

The number one dining area in Orlando has super nachos. Impressive is the Mexico pavilion, we got to visit it for lunch today. A bunch of us are in town for the age 12-15 Soccer tournament at the Disney World sports club so we stopped to eat some yummy foods. We picked Mexico because we voted for everyone's top food choice.

Beautiful is the word and the showcase is a sweet reflection of the culture and has tacos. Make sure you take note of the ancient pyramid, water excursion on boats, and the famous xochimilco gardens. You will not believe the menu of goodies. I so much enjoyed the baja quesadillas with flour tortillas, beef, chicken, jack cheese and hot sauce.

Most folks should try the fajita ensalada which is loaded with chicken, steak, shrimp, with sauteed bell peppers, onions, cheese, and sour cream. You will need to drink some Mexican beer to help you with the hot sauces. Very authentic is the arroz con camarones or sauteed shrimp with mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, garlic, rice, jack cheese and sour cream. You do not have to get a huge meal, just sample something light. Simple and easy is the sopa de tortilla or spicy grilled chicken soup with crispy tortilla strips, avocado and jack cheese. Go for the fun and food, we love the whole Disney experience.
